SYNDESMOS

SYNDESMOS. The term means “bond” or “link,” and was adopted as the name of the international Orthodox youth organization in the early 1960s. Syndesmos arranges youth camps, conferences, and exchanges throughout the Orthodox oikoumene (q.v.). It is headquartered in Kuopio, Finland.
